The National Debate objective is to find viable and practical solutions to social and economic inequality. It's a massive task, massive. There will be times that we will seem to be going nowhere BUT together we can do it!!
From now until February, we are in the preparation stage. We are finishing off the website (please register - Clicky here!!) and making contact with experts.
From February, we are doing information gathering. Finding specific social and economical problems. There will be many. This should last 8 weeks.
In April, we will go into the actual debate. This is when we bring in experts and stakeholders to help find viable solutions to the problems found.
This will last the best part of 6 months.
In October - December we will try to tie everything together to produce a "manifesto" which will be called something like "The Viable alternative"...Or something along those lines.
We will make the "manifesto" open in that any stakeholders can use it freely.
