National Debate 2012-Why?

National Debate 2012-Finding the solutions to Social and Economic Inequality

Why?

This national debate comes straight of the back on the Occupy Movement and other people who I respect. The repeated criticism of the Occupy Movement was that they have done a fantastic job at raising awareness but haven't came forward with detailed plans aimed at finding solutions. That is what our ambition, our aim.

How?

We have been in contact with many experts, politicians, business leaders, political movement and any other stakeholder. The vast majority have replied positively.

We shall spend the first month or two, identifying specific problems in our society that is caused by economic and social inequality.

That will be our informations gathering stage

From those problems, we will try to find workable solutions. This will take around 4-6 months.

Once that is completed we will spend the remainder of the time bringing the solutions into one joined up proposal.

Who will receive this Proposal?

Anybody who wants it.

PoliticsUK are running the National Debate, what will PoliticsUK get out off this?

PoliticsUK will hopefully get exposure and a degree of legitimacy.

What do I get from this?

I believe our society is unfair. This is not a political problem but a social problem,  I also believe that we are the intelligence as a nation to find solutions.

If you have any more questions, don't be scared to ask.
